I wanted to share an initiative that my church has put forth. We have been given the opportunity to purchase a bigger facility so we can continue to grow the body of Christ and serve our community. I know that most of us would not be where we are at now if it weren’t for those who supported and believed in us. This is why we are making a call out to all our friends, family and even those whom we do not know but believe in what we do and what we want to do in the future.

All we’re asking for is $1. You read right, one single dollar. We feel that if we can get this website to reach the entire world we can reach our goal.

Please, if you feel it upon your heart to donate a dollar we would really appreciate it. Please pray for this initiative and help us spread the word.

At the same time my band and I had to be at an event that evening in Springfield, MA so my wife, baby and I needed to get ready early so I would have time to setup my drums, and as we were heading out the door around 6:30PM my wife gets a call from her niece; HAPPY ANIVERSARY! she exclaims. I could not hear anything from the other end but my wife immediately says, “it’s not today”, then she turns to me and asks for the date to which I said, “I DUNNO”. Turns out it was July 28th and it was our 2 year anniversary and we totally and utterly forgot.

When I started this blog I began documenting about someone special I was smitten about. Little did I know that a little over a year after that post I would be proposing marriage to this wonderful woman I call Josie.

The first year was a whirl wind with the surprise that a baby boy was coming. Josie was amazing during her labor and she gave me a beautiful baby boy we named Josiah Samuel Mateo.

Our second year of marriage has mostly been about the little one as you may have noticed the most popular tag is Josiah, but on this most momentous occasion I wanted to make this post all about my baby Josie.

This blog used to be chock full of post about you babe and I wanted to take the time once again to make you the focal point of my life. I want to thank you and exalt the most wonderful woman in the world, the one God had for me. The one who loves me despite all my flaws. The one who made me a a proud father. The one who makes me laugh. The one who will always be there for me.

Josephine Mateo, I love you more today then I did yesterday and I will love you more tomorrow than I love you today. Happy Anniversary Babe!!!

On a very similar day like today one year ago my life changed forever. Josiah Samuel Mateo was born to two very excited parents and its been quite the ride this first year. Surely one to remember for the rest of our lives. Happy Birthday Buddy! Mommy and Daddy loves you!
