Guess Who’s getting Married…

…ME!!! Well not really but according to wedding folklore, I am. Yesterday at a wedding I caught the garter, a first for me. Wedding floklore says that whoever catches the garter or bouquet are the next to get married. This being the first time in about 10 shots at it I find it a bit odd. Now that I have Josie, now that I have someone so special in my life, now that I believe I am ready for marriage, I catch the garter. Weird Huh?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking to get married any time soon but maybe 1 or 2 years down the road sounds about right. If it’s God’s will it will be my baby Josie. And this event marked another new episode in my life. I guess this is the time for firsts.
